Tonight in the Explorers Room – Piero Umiliani: Film Jazz, Synthi Times, Exotic Themes (Part Two)

Tonight in the Explorers Room we have another program dedicated to Piero Umiliani's extensive body of work, with an emphasis on psychedelic and erotic soundtracks, eerie library docu-exoticism, and a lot more synthi themes, recorded at Sound Work Shop on the Omicron label.  "Mah Nà Mah Nà" included this time, don't miss it!

Hello there,
I came across your fantastic blog while searching for this special sub-genre of library music exclusive to plants. And there I found Mort Garson's Plantasia and as you correctly described it was the best of all the three albums you posted.

I also started following your radio program. You put loads of effort into it. Big up!

I'm going through your "WHAT DO I LIKE AND WHO HELPS ME GET" where one finds interesting links to other blogs. I wonder if you populate the list manually or is it fed through a feed or an app.

It would be fantastic if you gave us one or two favorite blogs of yours, the ones you to which you return regularly. We are in a post-MP3 era but of course there are countless hidden gems unavailable on streaming services one unearths through blogs like this.

Keep up the good work!

Hi FM! Thanks for the kind words. As for the blogroll, it's a template option you can add, but the actual blogs are all added by me over the years. A lot of them are inactive now but they were or are all great blogs. I have been meaning to do more specific links to blogs and posts that are currently offering great stuff, so I'll try to do that more.

Also: Hi Lysergic, thanks!
