Vintage Sounds of Love: Red Velvet- Stanley Black

This is the first old record I ever really fell in love with. The tunes are as lush and sentimental as the beautiful cover implies. Just magical stuff, this. Put this on, get drunk on something good, and use excellent manners.
Here is a pretty crackly, tinny rip of it (it has been re-upped). The deficiencies may well add to the nostalgia of the music, if you think that way. If anybody knows where I can find a better copy, let me know in the comments, but don't pass this up just for fidelity's sake.

Hi Flash Strap,
good staff here.

This particular LP, well, deserves better quality of sound. Saddly too noisy... Before ripping, the LP should have been washed out properly (if it hadn't been). Usually this simple operation helps much against multiple clicks. The bitrate of the rip must also be high to faciliate further digital cleaning. In these course it is possible to clean the record digitally without loss of sound spectrum. Another remedy against clicks - playing the LP during recording process in wet condition.

Sorry, FS, I didn't mean a complaint. Simply I'm not a fan of noised sound, and shall try to denoise this particular record digitally. In other respects everything is good. Found interesting posts here. THanx a lot.

I was just going through a huge stack of vinyl that I was giving away and thought I'd Google this one. It is in great condition and plays well. How do I get it to you?

I'm thoroughly intrigued. What do you have in mind?
